Welcome to the St Paul’s High School Religious Education program!
We are very proud of our students and teachers here at St Paul’s!
In today’s society, our faith needs to take a front seat in the lives of our young people. Teens are being pulled in hundreds of directions and we are here to assist them and their parents in their religious development. Jesus Christ must be the center of all of our lives. We require mass attendance as well as class participation. Our program also includes hands on projects which the students are encouraged to take part in. Every child is unique, a beautiful gift from God and every family a true treasure. We respect how difficult this time can be and how pulled everyone can be at different times. Please do not hesitate to call us if you have any concerns about your child or our program.
High school classes are held on Sunday mornings from 8:15am until 9:45 at which time the students are encouraged to attend the 10:00 mass OR on Thursday evenings from 6:30PM-7:45PM.
You can download calendars for 9th and 10th grade by accessing the Parish Calendar under "Links" to the left.
Preparation for the Sacrament of Confirmation is a two year process. Public school students must attend both the 9th and 10th grade classes. Catholic high school students may attend 9th if they wish, however, attending 10th grade is a must. It is very important to built community with your fellow brothers and sisters and this is a perfect time to do just that. A Confirmation retreat is held during the summer between their 10th and 11th year. The sacrament is usually conferred sometime in either October or November.
