You Are Invited!

Have you ever thought of joining the Christian community through the Roman Catholic Church? Are you hungering for something more in your life? Are you in need of communal support and wondering what is to come at the end of life? Are you an average person simply looking for fulfillment and acceptance? Do you have a family and want your family to come to know their larger family in faith, the Church?
All are Welcome! You are needed! You are loved! You are invited!

Have you been away from the Church for awhile? Do you have questions about the Catholic faith? Are you feeling called to receive the Sacraments of the Church? The RCIA process is all encompassing… RCIA is just that… a process. The RITE OF CHRISTIAN INITIATION FOR ADULTS is a process “designed for adults who, after hearing the mystery of Christ proclaimed, consciously and freely seek the living God and enter the way of faith and conversion as the Holy Spirit opens their hearts” (RCIA, 1).

RCIA is a process by which individuals respond to God’s invitation of love. If you feel you have experience the living God in your life, and we all have, you have found the right place. Within the RCIA process people come together with their own lives experiences and freely and consciously come to understand how God is calling them into communion with Him and the Church.

The experience that people come to the RCIA process with is not one that is unique to everyone else’s common human experience. In the RCIA process we come with these experiences that are at times diverse in appearance, but unified in the common love for Jesus, the Christ. Together we try to understand the presence of Christ in our life and ultimately how Christ is inviting us to share that experience with the entire Church through liturgical life in prayer and charity. The goal of any RCIA process in not to become structured in any uniform understanding of our own person development in relationship to Christ but to simply on a day to day basis continue to recommit ourselves to the message of the Gospel and be converted by Jesus, who is the Good News for all to hear and experience.
